Killick terms of service

These terms are between you and Lowtide Digital Inc.. By creating an account or using Killick, you agree to them. If you use Killick for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it. You must be an adult able to enter this agreement and keep your sign-in credentials secure.

Your workspace and content

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You authorize us and our service providers to host, process, transmit and display it as needed to provide Killick, support you and meet legal obligations. You are responsible for having permission to upload customer and employee information, invite team members, share location and attachments, record calls, and send messages through each channel. Do not use Killick for unlawful, misleading, abusive or unsolicited communications, or to infringe others' rights.

Workspace owners control their workspace and are responsible for authorized users and business records. Members should not expect deletion of their personal account to erase an employer's records. Export records you need before deleting an owned workspace or account.

Service and AI-assisted work

Killick assists with calls, leads, scheduling, estimates, invoices and other business tasks. AI-generated content may be incomplete or incorrect. Review prices, tax treatment, customer details, appointments and outgoing messages before using them. You remain responsible for your trade licensing, work, customer contracts, tax obligations, lawful recording and communications. Killick does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice and is not an emergency response service. Feature availability depends on your plan, region, provider configuration and device.

Trial, subscriptions and usage

The 14-day no-card trial does not charge automatically. Paid subscriptions begin only after you complete checkout or an in-app purchase and renew on the billing interval shown there until canceled. The purchase screen controls the amount, currency, interval, included usage and applicable taxes. Taxes may be added as shown at checkout. Usage limits apply to AI minutes, actions and messages; review the plan details. We do not authorize unapproved paid upgrades or extra charges by these terms.

Cancellation and refunds

For Apple-billed subscriptions, manage cancellation in your Apple account's Subscriptions settings. Apple's refund process applies to Apple purchases. For Stripe-billed plans, use the billing portal where available on the web, or contact coady@lowtidedigital.ca; the Android app provides support for billing requests. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal and access continues through the paid period, unless you request immediate account deletion or applicable law requires otherwise. Deleting the app does not cancel billing. Deleting a Killick account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

For refund questions about Stripe-billed plans, contact coady@lowtidedigital.ca with the account and transaction details; do not send full card information. Refunds are reviewed under the purchase terms and applicable law. These terms do not remove mandatory cancellation, refund or consumer rights. Subscription fees are separate from payments your customers make for your business's work; you are responsible for those customer contracts, refunds and disputes, subject to your payment provider's terms.

Third-party services and privacy

Payment processors, app stores, communications providers and connected accounting services have their own terms. You must maintain the permissions and accounts required for integrations. Our Privacy policy explains the information Killick processes and your choices. Optional analytics consent is separate from agreement to these terms. We may disclose information as described in that policy and as required by law.

Availability and account closure

We take reasonable steps to operate and support Killick, but outages, provider failures and errors can occur. Maintain copies of business records you are required to keep and verify important actions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or a particular business result. We may limit or suspend access to address abuse, security threats, nonpayment or unlawful use, with notice where reasonable and legally required. You can request support and dispute a suspension through the contact below.

Changes and applicable rights

We will date revised terms and give notice of material changes where required. Price or renewal changes will be presented through the applicable billing provider and notices required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
